
Published by OHCHR on 18 September 2018 The Human Rights Council this morning held an interactive dialogue with the Independent International Fact-Finding Mission on Myanmar after hearing an oral update by the Mission’s Chair Marzuki Darusman. Mr. Darusman reminded that the attacks launched on August 2017 against the Rohingya people in Rakhine state had led to a mass exodus of three-quarters of a million people to Bangladesh and deaths of at least 10,000 people.
